Hello, I am isa.tatu.
I am a Berlin-based Austrian tattoo artist who sees her work in telling peoples' stories through the visual art of tattoos.
My experience of creatively working as a designer for several years has given me a skillset that brought me to tattooing and adapt it to the client‘s need.
I am only working with vegan materials and certified products that are as environmentally friendly as possible.
WHAT I OFFER
I like doing tattoos where the story of the client is in focus and together we are creating a visual storyteller which is underlining its meaning.
My focus in style is Dotwork, Fineline, Floral- and Mandalaart (color & bw), but I am also open for your ideas, preferences and wishes.

Originally travelling there for yoga I occasionally met Suraj, a tattoo artist from Nepal who offered me his hand in learning the craft of spiritual tattooing. I was overwhelmed by the beautiful art that could be seen especially given that every single piece was hand-drawn.
He guided me through the process of making my first tattoo on my leg by myself, as this is going to be my “business card” to show to my future clients.
What I experienced there and am now trying to keep in my work is that each tattoo was treatend as a special treasure, the process taken very seriously and the design created with care.
After my return to Berlin I was lucky enough to continue my apprenticeship. Nowadays you can find me working there as a guest artist with a main residence in Salzburg (Austria).
